Going Down
Made for the GMTK Game Jam 26
by Charlie, Owen, Will and Daniel aka OBCD
Deep beneath the earth, the mines are yearning for their workers... and you’re in charge of delivering them.
As the foreman of a growing network of hand-powered elevators, manage the delivery of your workers by alternating pump controls to descend through the mines.
Pick up impatient miners from the surface, watch their requested floor, and deliver them before they lose their temper.
As each day passes, the clock count down, more elevator shafts unlock, miners arrive faster, and keeping the whole operation running becomes increasingly chaotic. You must master the rhythm of every pump, and keep the mine moving for as long as you can.
Can you keep it up? What will happen when the days finally reach 0?

The soundscape is amazing. Really cool concept!
I'm not good enough to reach 0, but I assume the ending is Epic. Great work guys
fun game, neat idea. good balance of urgency and approachability. reminds me of qwop, but for mining!
Thank you so much for playing! QWOP was a big reference point for us.
